A busy month for everyone - school seemed very empty at times!
Our let's Get Cooking Club provided a strawberry tea for the congregation of Holy trinity Church, the drivers and escorts of our school transport and for other friends of the school.
Our Willows and Oaks groups went to Skegness on the train and looked at the street art as well as the water.
Upper School went to Kirton School to do some pond dipping; for a science workshop at St Bedes and to Whisby Nature reserve for the Environmental Awards.
The Dance troupe performed at the Children's Festival in Lincoln City and as part of a gifted and talented showcase at the Epic Centre in Lincoln. They also took part in a day for Gifted and Talented pupils at Tower Rd School.
Senior School went to The Deep and did some organised actrivities as well as having time to explore and learn about sea creatures.
Middle School went to Skegness and then some of the pupils and staff stayed overnight at Wing's Meadow again. Once again sleep was limited but we did get a bit!
The highlight of the year for the Secondary pupils was our first ever Prom. Everyone looked amazing - the girls in their Prom dresses and the boys in their dickie bows, some with cummerbands and jackets. They danced to live music provided by a group from William Lovell School, ate a wonderful 3 course meal served by the Police Cadets and finished the evening with a disco. Every pupil won a prize in the raffle and for those for whom transport was a problem the decorated school bus made a great prom - mobile. A very special evening for our very special pupils.
The 2 presentation events went off well and everyone was delighted with the progress made by pupils over the year.
As always we visited Holy Trinity Church in the last week.
We finished the term with a whole school BBQ for which the weather was kind.
